We have the greatest influence over reducing our own operational waste and are focused on achieving 90% or higher landfill diversion through recycling, reuse, composting, and waste-to-energy solutions across HP-owned and -managed sites worldwide.

In 2025, across 55 sites where waste data is directly tracked (with data for remaining sites extrapolated based on headcount), HP generated 17,900 tonnes of nonhazardous solid waste in our operations, a decrease compared with 23,000 tonnes generated in 2024. Through the continued implementation of recycling, reuse, composting, and waste-to-energy programs, we achieved a landfill diversion rate of 91%, up from 90%.

During the year, we continued to promote robust construction waste management practices, ensuring that waste generated from construction and renovation work is tracked and diverted from landfill wherever possible. We also strive to reuse office furniture across locations and to transition to permanent tableware in cafeteria operations, supporting a company-wide shift toward a circular economy of reuse, reduce, and recycle.
