HP supports the Eco Declaration, launched in 1996, which in 2006 became an International ECMA-370 standard. In 2006, HP led the project to broaden the scope to include print supplies. Selected criteria found in the following eco-labels have been included in the Eco Declaration:

  • EU Flower
  • Blue Angel
  • Nordic Swan
  • TCO

Additional criteria not covered by the above-listed eco-labels, particularly related to the avoidance of certain chemical substances, have also been included.
